Paris Hill

In the next breeding season we will be standing an exciting young stallion, Paris Hill. Paris Hill is by Ideal De Valette, a stallion imported to Australia and campaigned at World Cup Showjumping by Jeff Bloomfield, who is now competing with him in Europe.

Ideal de Valette is by one of the greatest jumping sires ever – Voltaire, who combines illustrious French blood from his sire Furioso II and the best of the German jumpers in his dam sire, Gotthard. Ideal de Valette is out of a mare by one of the immortals of French breeding, Almé.

Paris Hill is out of a Dusky Hunter/Salute mare and was bred by Beth and Warwick Turner. We will post more information on him as the breeding season approaches.

Cosmos

We have been standing the 16.2hh stallion Cosmos (2002) for several years.

Just like his father Capone, Cosmos is a fine example of modern Warmblood breeding with the same faultless temperament and conformation. Belcam Caesar, who is starring in Eventing at 2* with Kevin McNab, is also by Capone.

Cosmos is a fine example of the future in modern Australian Warmblood breeding, with Capprilli and Cor de la Bryere, and on the dam side the successful jumping sire King. King was the sire of Abduel, campaigned by John Cooper and winner of many events at Advanced level, including Queensland 3DE Championships. Also, on the dam line of his father is the famous Gotthard, through Goldstern who is a very well known producer of jumping horses.

Although now gelded, Cosmos's progeny are showing the same qualities his father is famous for. You can see some of his progeny on our Mares and Foals page. We have young stock by Cosmos and broodmares PTIF to Cosmos available for sale.
